The LA Source Code junket - New pictures and interviews with Jake Gyllenhaal and Vera Farmiga

This weekend, the Source Code press conference took place in LA. Before we get on to some of the interviews from the junket, here are a couple of pictures from the day.

Below are interviews with ET and Access Hollywood. It's interesting to hear that Jake is answering a very similar question to one he was asked during the Prince of Persia promotion - if you could go back in time and change something, what would you do? This time, though, Jake doesn't say he would go back to his birth.

There is also an interview with one of my favourites, Jake the Movie Guy.

It's also great to see an interview with Vera Farmiga, who is a definite highlight of the whole Source Code experience. This comes courtesy of First Showing.

There is also an interview with Duncan Jones at Indie Movies Online. Without doubt, I will be posting more from the weekend, so don't go too far away!

Pictures with thanks to IHJ - there are more there.

Hey, thanks so much for the pictures and the videos! It's always a pleasure to see this guy ... he looks so fresh as if he had recently had a shower, doesn't he??

The interview with Jake the Movie Guy is fantastic, as always. I love what you mentioned he said about "our Jake" always remembering everything about the person who interviews him. That's pretty cool of him because some celebrities have "short memory" :)

Have a great day you all!

Hi WDW and everybody. I'm loving all these interviews! I find myself watching Jake's body language and every time he comes across as relaxed, engaged, comfortable, attentive, and genuinely interested. In a word: charismatic. Politicians would kill for communication skills like his. Thank goodness he chose to be an actor; I love movies but I'm not a big fan of politics. :)

Thanks for keeping us up to date on all the SC promotion WDW.

My life has been a bit crazy recently so I have a couple of weeks worth of posts to get through:)

Thanks again.

Hi all, I hope your weekend has been as sunny as mine! Loving it! :)

I had some time to go through all the recent posts. So much Source Code promotion going on! :)
I'm still recovering from seeing Zodiac on Saturday... yes, the miracle has happened. *grin* Will write about it on the forum. Those E! vids among others did a great job of getting my attention back to drop dead gorgeous and relaxed Jake instead of obsessed, haunted Robert, that's for sure. ;-)

Hello everyone! First day of spring and a beautiful day out there :)

My pleasure, La Brulee! It's a particular pleasure to post the Jake the Movie Guy interview. That was a nice thing for him to say :)

I totally agree, Susan! The genuinely interested is a big part of Jake's appeal for me. And yep, I'm glad he chose the acting path too :)

Good to see you, Carol! I hope things calm down so you can get in multiple screenings! Good to know you're reading x

Hi Lady Ekster! I'm so thrilled you saw Zodiac at last. I must read what you have to say on the forum. And it's not just a brilliant film, the Director's Cut is a great DVD too.

wonderful interviews. I love how insightful Jake is. How sensitive he is, when asked if he could change something about his life what would he change. He said he feels very blessed and thinks about the people in Japan and the other places in the world where things are happening.

Did he say he has a friend in Japan? I thought I heard him mention something like that.

I love how Jake can't say enough good things about working with Michelle M and visa versa.

I wonder if Jake will take that reporter up on his offer to use his pull out couch if he comes to Houston. :D

Will do, WDW, definitely. :) Had it planned for this evening but The Dark Knight is on telly tonight. Gonna treat myself to a bit of Gotham City... and Christian... and Michael... and Maggie... and Heath.

Hi Sweetpea - that's in the interview: he does say that he has family friends in Japan. He also mentioned to GQ a few years back that he'd been to Japan as a teenager.

Enjoy The Dark Knight, Lady Ekster! I find that far scarier than Zodiac :D
