Hey Paul! I was a Natalie fan and then I saw Star Wars and I couldn't bear her for quite a while after that - I thought she was terrible in it. But I rewatched Garden State and that brought me round again, and I love what I've seen of her in Brothers. And I think she looks beautiful.

Jake is a natural at these events - he's such a performer. It's great to see again :)

Some more or less random thoughts:

--"Brothers" gives Tobey a chance to show he can do serious acting, and judging from the previews, I'd say he's made it. I really like Tobey, and I root for him.

--I like Natalie as a blonde. I also respect her a whole lot for taking some of the boring characters she's had in a few movies, and making them interesting through sheer talent. Being Darth Vader's mother in the Star Wars series could have doomed her chances of a serious career, but she showed how much range she has. Good for her!

--I've never been a high-profile celebrity, but I know how valuable humor is for getting you through anxiety-provoking situations. Press conferences? Any little slip of the tongue can get you in trouble, but a funny quip usually helps a lot. Jake has a lot of wit, and it's good to see him using it! :-)

I agree with anon , there is a resemblance between jake and tobey ,maybe the eyes and some expressions but tobey looks more " average" IMO ( I know it's not sweet)compared to Jake.

Natalie has said she has known Jake and Tobey since she was 14. There are pictures of Jake and Natalie when they're in their teens...also pictures of them from maybe 19 or so with the bike. And then the New York pictures from 2005 or 2006 of him waiting for her with flowers.
Looking forward to the print ads for Brothers because those will have comments from critics.
Hope a big page in the NY Times.
Also need to see some of the comments on the TV ads.

Hey Tobey looks so serious on the Brothers press conference video. I laught at the first question the journalist asked him. Great for him to be back on more intimate movie.
Like everyone I want more, specially about our boy and natalie. They are so cute together and seems very good friends.

Another day of being off line a lot and so good to finally catch up...what a whirlwind!! It was nice to "see" the cast all together but would have been even nicer to hear them ALL talk...one certain someone in particular!! Maybe tomorrow we'll be fortunate enough to get more footage from the press conference or maybe photos from their moviefone interview - sounds like they got to spend some time together this weekend for sure! I just saw the couple of pics added to Hollywood Elsewhere from the conference and Jake is Lookin' Good! :-)

Yay for LOAD set pics and FINALLY Jake and Anne together! Is it too much to ask for the people of Pittsburgh to take more pictures (and to get a little closer if possible)?! Hee Hee...just kidding (kinda). Seeing a little bit like this just makes me want more I'm afraid.

It's all great stuff coming our way...can't wait for more of all this over the next few days and weeks...whooowhee!

I hope to have more time to enjoy this stuff tomorrow...RL is kicking me in the butt lately.
