Hi Get Real! I think part of the problem with SNL is that they purposely hide their schedule until the last available minute - all makes life more difficult for us... It's great that the JK show is confirmed. I like that!

Hi Paul :D I think that's true. I do think that if you have trouble seeing that it alters certain things. I think some people with 20:20 vision (mentioning no names, Mr WDW) don't realise how it can be a pain in the bum sometimes. I feel it a bit because I'm also slightly deaf and have rubbish balance. However, I have a beautiful singing voice... (chortle). It's good to know that Jake can empathise with some of this.

I can definitely relate to Jake's vision problems. The last time I appeared without eyeglasses in a photo was in first grade, when I was six. After that, I wore glasses. :-(

I think that the capacity for insight and empathy starts to grow when vision deteriorates. Jake has both.

Still loving all this Jake news! Very cool that he is going on Jimmy Kimmel. If that is true then I doubt SNL will happen because they do take the full week to rehearse and such. Also I have read, I think at IHJ, that he isn't confirmed that this is a rumor. We will see. :)

Oh, I see the JKL tickets info now...thanks! (Of course it's sold out)! That certainly is a lot of flying around. I don't see the cast of SNL spending a lot of time rehearsing the week before for SNL (as it's Thanksgiving week) but maybe early in the week of 11/30 - then to LA for talk shows - then back to NYC? UGH to that schedule! That's why he gets paid the big bucks I guess - ha ha!

If you go to the ticket option on the Jimmy website and then look through the show options, it lists Jake's show at the end - as soldout unfortunately. But it mentions Jake's name.

I think this could fit in with SNL ok because last time Jake rehearsed mostly in advance of the SNL day and he was flying all over the place in between. It could also fit in with a NYC premiere around that time too...

I haven't had as much time on line as I would like but have finally caught up on things. Wow - there's a lot going on!!

I hope we get a confirmation for SNL on 12/5 but so far I haven't seen anything more on this *waits patiently* *NOT*

I don't see the 12/3 show listed on the Jimmy Kimmel website - it seems to only go up to 11/25 - do you still see it WDW? Maybe I missed it?

If JKL on 12/3 is true that may mean no SNL on 12/5 as normally they rehearse for SNL during the days leading up to the show. Jimmy Kimmel's show is taped in the evening in Hollywood - not very easy to be there and also be in NYC rehearsing for SNL. Hmmmmm. We need some confirmations!!

Questions for Jake? Oh boy. I'm glad we have a bit of time to think about this...I wouldn't know where to begin!

I'm hoping for a flood of red carpets, with NYC and LA in December and Dublin in January. I hear that Natalie will be doing a talk show or two around Thanksgiving in the US and so it's good to hear Jake may be doing something. I bet they were so keen to get him back! Fingers crossed!

Hi Sweetpea! At least we know this isn't a repeat of the 2007 Jake SNL show as this time the music is by 50 Cent. I think the new series is underway now but they won't announce their stars until the last minute.

Thanks WDW. I guess we'll have to stay tuned to see if Jake is indeed hosting SNL. During the holiday season SNL often takes a break. I don't know when they plan to show repeats.

And I plan to tape Sesame Street on Dec 4th to capture Jake and his friend the octopus (I don't know what that character's name is)
